Burst! Hires Director Of Marketing To Communicate
Value Of Specialty Content On The Internet
BURLINGTON, MA - November 18, 1999 - BURST!, the leading ad network for specialty-content web publishers, today announced the appointment of William "Biff" Burns as Director of Marketing. In this newly-created position, Burns will spearhead BURST!'s strategic corporate communications efforts, including its newly-redesigned web site, advertising sales promotion, and communication with its thousands of specialty-content web publishers and hundreds of online advertisers.

As director of marketing, Burns will develop BURST!'s overall marketing and communications efforts. His responsibilities will include web site sales and service, advertising sales promotion, and corporate communications. He joins BURST! after 20 years of marketing communications experience at the Liberty Mutual Group, a diversified international financial services company with 37,000 employees and $11 billion in consolidated revenue. Most recently, he served as vice president of communication services, responsible for Liberty's integrated brand-building campaign, as well as the company's redesigned web site and the communication support of several business units. Burns will be located at BURST!'s headquarters in Burlington, MA.
